Trainer Christie Nissenson started Luv2Jump Equestrian Services in 2010 after seeing a need for informed, quality equine consulting services in the Southern California horse community.
A successful showman on the A Circuit, Christie has worked alongside Olympic-quality trainers and coached championship riders. Her broad background gives her a unique insight into the equine markets of Orange and Los Angeles counties.
Christie’s riding career started at the age of 5 with some of the leading English coaches in Southern California. She successfully competed on the hunter/jumper circuit as a youth before deciding to pursue horse training as a full-time career.
Christie apprenticed with trainers in several different disciplines and is experienced in hunters, jumpers, western pleasure, horsemanship, equitation, trail, western riding, reining and saddle seat. She has competed at USEF “A” rated shows, as well as on the Morgan and American Quarter Horse breed circuits. No matter what discipline she is riding, Christie relies on a solid dressage foundation and focuses on achieving collection with every horse. Her goal is to create a willing partnership between you and your horse.
With more than 20 years of experience behind her, Christie is not only an experienced trainer in the saddle, she also has the unique ability to teach riders in a way that is both fun and educational. Her teaching experience includes private and group lessons for riders of all ages, leading 4-H groups and coaching high school equestrian teams in competition. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced rider, Christie teaches a safe, correct style of riding in an enjoyable environment.
